Pet Portraits

Our pets are part of the family

Pet portraits are more than a photograph, they are a monument to the animals we care for, who keep us company and enrich our lives. Commissioning a portrait for yourself or for a gift is an investment in the relationship and the memory of shared experience, to be treasured for all time.

Portrait Styles

I offer two different portrait styles, coloured pencils and soft pastels.

I can achieve an excellent likeness of your pet with either, provided I have a clear photograph to work from.

I work mainly in coloured pencils and pastels, once I have seen the photo I can let you know which medium would be more suitable.

This is dependant on my current workload and usually at least 8 weeks, if you did need for a particular event please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.

Happy Clients

“My portrait of Bertie was one of the most thoughtful, personal and special presents I’ve ever received. When I opened it, I couldn’t stop looking at it! Kaye had captured him as a tiny puppy so absolutely that it couldn’t have been any other dog but him. It has pride of place in my house and I have subsequently commissioned Kaye for portraits of friends and family’s pets – I know how they will feel when they receive them, having felt it myself. This is something so special which I’ll keep and treasure forever.”

Karen

“I was absolutely over the moon to receive the two drawings of my dogs for my 30th birthday! I got very emotional when I opened it as sadly one of my dogs has passed away but the pictures are so life like and look exactly like them, it is a great keep sake so that they are always remembered and a part of the family. The drawings are amazing and have so much detail! It makes a lovely gift and I would definitely recommend! I would love a picture like this of my children next! Thank you Kaye!”
